We used the already finished script to plan and structure the movements of the characters by also enrolling the crew members as the characters. This was a sensible idea not only for the blocking purposes but also for the crew working on set during live will get a feeling for how the character will move during the lice production; so for me I as a camera man will roughly know where each character will be during the production, with the added bonus of being a scriptwriter as well so I know what happens.
