Loc Doc Wig and make up

trying to find the costumes was separated between us, I personally was in charge of the wig. i was the sole searcher for the wig because I refused the rest of the crew to buy a less accurate wig that would not look like the character evebn though it was already pre-red and white skinned

This was the wig i found in a little costume shop around the local town, I was searching for hours and couldn't find any other good substitutes until I found this one, right next to it however was exactly what I needed to make it Pennywise's hair

2 bottles of cheap hair spray were on sale just next to the wig and I felt it was a sign, to buy it there and then, so later on I got to work making my Pennywise scalp

This was the wig straight out of the bag, not very impressive nor very Pennywise like either, so it seemed that the wig needed just more work and some make up so that it would be just right

I did a small test of the red on a piece of cardboard and wasn't impressed however when I applied it to the wig it came out to be a perfect clown red, all it needed now was a few more sprays so it was fuller and looked more like a killer

I had to create a balancing act so that the wig dried evenly and securely and wouldn't be disturbed

I added these two pictures after the shoot just too show how it ended up turning out, with adding a layer of make up and having it on the actor made it really come too life

However i do believe when taking the wig off Pennywise was much scarier
