Initial ideas feedback
Hi Jacob,Both of these concepts are really strong and equally interesting. You have clearly been thinking about this which is great to see. I do need you to make a decision within the next week in order that you don't lose too much time that could be spent on the development of your journal. We can have more discussion but really interested to see how you develop this.
Having this feedback allows me to make a rather interesting decision in which I should pick. I am during my presentation make it a question for the audience.

Initial ideas for journal artefact
My visual culture artifact will be focusing on the Socio-ideolgy-Birth of television and the Colour debate-The movement of the black community in relation to film. I am planning for my artifact to be a diorama/model of a film set, it shall show the early stages of processing a film in relation with the time frame of how the black community were seen/treated at the time, moving from zoo's, to slavery, segregation and then equality. I will show the film being carried across the stages of time and as it first being handled by the white men and only them, to then move onto how slavery/use of black people were in film, the film being developed by both but in segregated rooms and then finally them both working together to put it onto a miniature television, using photos to show a rough recap of the history.
or
a series of photographs to be projected onto a wall showcasing the Naked or Nude aspect of the Representation of self as well as the Birth of television by exploring the other un-talked about issues that some of the films in the 1950's (woodfall), homosexuallity, interracial relations, travelers etc, which were low budget and quickly made for the showcasing of the younger audience instead of the older audience who were sat at home watching soaps.
